Community Assistance Program

What is the community assistance program?

Bike Utah’s Community Assistance Program (CAP) supports communities in becoming more bicycle-friendly. We lend our staff expertise and resources to help you identify and address barriers to cycling, turn an idea into reality, and make your community an even better place to ride.

Our assistance is founded on the “Five Elements” of successful bicycle communities:

  • complete cycling infrastructure,

  • access to gear and maintenance,

  • education and information,

  • thriving cycling community, and

  • inclusive planning and policy.

Who should apply?

Our education and planning professionals partner with community groups, schools, nonprofit organizations, tribes, and government agencies. If you are interested in assistance but do not fall into one of these categories, please feel free to fill out the form below and we can discuss the possibilities.
